Project 2 Brainstorm Blog

For this project, I want to continue working on developing my skills in Blender. I am really happy with the way the last project came out and I want to continue making objects. While on Pinterest I found images of abstract sculptures that use a bunch of cool shapes, colors, and textures. I feel like Blender would be the perfect software to make this sculpture because you don't have to worry about the effects of gravity and weight. With the last project, I really struggled with lighting my scene so I definitely want to make sure everything is well-lit and has good contrast between the objects. I'm also curious how in the images they are on a colored backdrop and I'm not quite sure how to achieve that. I am really excited to try out the techniques I learned in the last project and abstract them to create something really cool from my imagination. I definitely will still need the help of some tutorials as I don't think I'm quite ready to work unguided quite yet. In the description of the images I found, it says the artist used software called dribble and I'm not sure what that is but I think it's worth looking into if I can't achieve the same look with Blender. I want to create a little mini-world with lots of different elements. In one of the images, it looks like a sphere is plastic or glass and I definitely want to include that in my project in some way.
