Brainstorm for Project 1 Blog

For this assignment, I want to play with the idea of technology and distortion and have my subject be a dystopian, apocalyptic, robotic feel. I love MidJourney and I was playing around on there for so long, creating multiple discord accounts so I can bypass having to pay for a full subscription. From the word generator assignment, I came up with the words: pink, cyber, punk, and candy and just went with it adding other phrases as well to change up my outcomes. I like how my images are turning out and I think once I add the glitch techniques it will just add the extra element to make it look distorted. I also saw people in the chat of discord adding phrases like extremely detailed, uplight, cinematic, high resolution, 4k, very photo-realistic, ultra-realistic, beautiful design, and octane render and decided to add those as well. It turned out cool, the images I've generated look like scenes from a movie and I love how I made them all have a pink theme/hue because it's my favorite color. After trying all the glitch tutorials I gravitated towards the audacity and pixel sorting techniques. I like how the pixel sorting one makes it look grainy and sand-like, and I like audacity because it has cool line glitches. I like where my project is headed.
